How to Get Rare Pets in Steal An Egg On KuKirin

The working route to rare pets in Steal An Egg On KuKirin: high-tier egg sources, faster night hatching, and the rare-to-mythic ladder, without guessing odds.

Steal An Egg On KuKirin never hands you a checklist of its rare pets. The official how-to-play treats "rare pets" as the collective prize of the whole loop: ride KuKirin to steal eggs, outrun angry dinosaurs, hatch eggs to collect rare pets, earn money from your pets. Nothing published about the game names which specific pets carry the "rare" label. What is verified is the ladder underneath that umbrella, rare → epic → legendary → mythic, and the steal-and-hatch route that demonstrably reaches its top: one recorded session ended with a player holding a mythic, and another pull from a mythical egg was celebrated as "better than the legendary one... And by a lot."

That route is this page. Get a KuKirin, target a high-tier egg from a cash-gated zone, a price sign or the clown, survive the chase, hatch through the night, collect the pet by hand, and let pet income fund the next run.

What "rare" actually means in this game

The ladder is real; the roster isn't. Play confirms a four-rung ladder. An unhatched egg gets sized up as "Could be rare, legendary," which makes rare its own named rung. Players settle the middle of the ladder out loud ("An epic is probably better than a legendary." / "No, no, a legendary is better."), and the mythical egg puts mythic on top, "better than the legendary one" "by a lot." A mythic isn't theoretical, either; its owner cites it as the reason an under-gated steal succeeded: "I have a mythic now."

No pet wears a tier label in anything published. The pets seen in one recorded session were a Velicoraptor that dropped from a bought egg at a stated 24% chance and earns 11,000, a bull earning 11,000, a pterodactyl tied to a 200,000 figure while two weaker drops sat at 23,000 and 22,000 ("Pterodactyl, just a bit weaker"), and a tick held alongside the mythic. Treat these as observed pulls with session numbers, not tier assignments. The full roster, whatever each pet's tier, lives on the pets list page, and what each pet pays is tracked on the pet earnings page.

Calibrate, don't extrapolate. Every number in this guide, from the 24% to the 11,000 income to the gate totals below, comes from that single session, so none of them are documented rates. The only stated odds anywhere are the Velicoraptor's 24% and one player hunting a "1% one." Don't assume a fixed mapping from egg name to pet tier, either: the mythical egg's famous pull was only ever described as "better than the legendary one," not as an automatic mythic.

The route: from egg to high-tier pet

1. Get on a KuKirin, then a better one. Every run starts on the bike, and the shop sells improvements: a 400,000-cash Kukirin comes up early, and by late session players were buying an 8-million model because it "earns more" and "has more speed." Speed is what turns a risky steal into a clean escape, so working through the motorcycle unlocks and speed upgrades is part of the pet grind, not a side quest. The official description ties this directly to eggs, promising "rarer eggs" as you unlock faster motorcycles.

2. Pick a high-tier egg source. Three kinds of sources produced the session's best eggs:

SourceWhat you doObserved result
Cash-gated zoneRide past the posted cash threshold and take the eggA legendary egg from the third level; zones posted "17 million is needed" and a 30-million "secret"
Price signBuy the egg shown on the signAn epic eternal egg for 1,500
The clownTake the mythical egg waiting at the clownA pull "better than the legendary one... And by a lot"

Gates are markers, not hard walls. A player stealing from the level recommending 17 million while holding under three million reported "it works easily," while another bailed on the same idea ("maybe this is too much for me") and lost the trip. Under-gated attempts are a real option; just have an escape planned. The egg locations page maps the zones, and the rarest eggs page helps you rank targets.

3. Steal it and outrun the dinosaur. Taking an egg triggers an angry dinosaur chase. Escape with the egg and it's yours: "take the legendary one then, and escape... He won't catch me... Okay, and it worked. We have a legendary egg from the third level now." Get caught and the run is wasted ("I didn't make it"). The how to steal eggs and how to escape dinosaurs pages break down the maneuver itself.

A Roblox character rides a KuKirin scooter carrying a glowing blue egg in a crate while a roaring orange dinosaur chases through a blocky desert
The heart of a rare-pet run: the stolen glowing egg rides on the back of the KuKirin while an angry dinosaur does its best to stop you.

4. Hatch on the timer, and use the night. Timers in the session ranged from 24 seconds to about an hour (24 seconds, a minute and a half, two minutes, six minutes, "another hour"). Two conditions matter:

  • Night speeds hatching up. "At night. They open faster at night." Start your biggest steals so the timer overlaps nightfall, the way one player was urged: "Then hurry back, because it's almost night."
  • There is no shown Robux skip. When players asked "how do you open this for Robux?" the answer was "You can't," and one called the game "an anti-Robux game." Another player insists Robux speed-ups are possible, but every attempt actually shown was refused, so plan around waiting. Shared hatch mechanics are on the how to hatch eggs page.

5. Collect the pet by hand. When the timer ends, nothing joins your crew automatically. The egg flips to "ready to be collected" and you claim it yourself: "Oh, bull egg ready to be collected. Here you go. We'll take it, boom." That one weighed 50 kilos. Stick around after the hatch; the pickup is its own action.

6. Spend the income and run it back. The route funds its own repetition. New species logged in the index pay speed and cash ("When you get a new pet, it gives you speed and cash"), trails boost your bonus, treadmill upgrades raise income, and better Kukirins earn more per run. Players immediately reinvest ("Okay, so when it's night, then I'll go get a better egg") and buy extra eggs to chase specific pulls ("I'm going to buy one more egg because I want to drop the 1% one"). If cash is short for the next bike, the how to earn money page covers income, and any active boosts sit on the Codes page.

Conditions that change a run

  • Other players can steal your egg. The session shows players robbing each other, not just dinosaurs ("And he stole your egg"; "Give me that legendary egg, you stinker"). Get a stolen egg onto its timer instead of parading it around.
  • Stage transitions can knock you over. "You have to jump between stages, because sometimes when you enter a stage, you can fall over." An escape can fail on a stumble, not just on speed.
  • Under-gate steals are hit-and-miss. One worked "easily"; another cost the player the egg. Treat posted thresholds as difficulty ratings and bring upgrades.

How to confirm you actually got a high-tier pet

The result reads in three places. First, the collect prompt: the egg announces it is "ready to be collected." Second, the reveal against the ladder: "It's better than the legendary one. >> And by a lot." is what a top-rung pull sounded like in play. Third, the pet's earning figure, where the session's benchmarks ran from a 315 earner called "what a bummer," through 11,000 for a Velicoraptor or bull, to 50,000 called "already pretty good," and one wolf egg that opened to "probably nothing good." A brand-new species also registers in the index and pays its speed-and-cash bonus, so a genuinely new pet shows up there.

There's no published rare-pet checklist to chase in this game, but the top of the ladder is reachable with the loop the game teaches on day one. The mythical egg at the clown is the most direct confirmed shot at it seen in play: steal high, survive the chase, hatch through the night, collect by hand, and let the pets pay for the next egg.
