Steal An Egg On KuKirin Speed Progression Guide
The verified speed path in Steal An Egg On KuKirin: pet income funds the speed upgrade, faster KuKirins and new-pet speed grants, with every gate explained.
Speed in Steal An Egg On KuKirin is a loop, not a single upgrade button. The official How-to-Play chain spells it out: ride your KuKirin to steal eggs, outrun the angry dinosaurs, hatch the eggs into pets, earn money from your pets, upgrade your speed, and use that speed to unlock faster motorcycles and rarer eggs. In practice, every speed gain is paid for with pet income and spent on three things: the repeatable speed upgrade, the next faster shop KuKirin, and newly hatched pet species, which grant speed on their own. This guide walks that path in order, with the gate that controls each step. If you have not played yet, the how-to-play basics come first.

The route at a glance
- Early game: steal eggs, hatch them, and put the income into the repeatable speed upgrade whenever the next KuKirin is still too expensive.
- Early to mid game: buy the next shop KuKirin as soon as you can afford it — each one is faster and earns more.
- Always: hatch pet species you do not own yet. Each new type grants speed and cash; duplicates only add income.
- Mid to late game: push toward the speed-gated egg areas so you can steal the eggs that hatch better-paying pets.
- Optional: Robux speed gamepasses multiply your speed if you want a paid shortcut.
What funds the whole route: pet income
Every purchase in the speed path draws on the same wallet: your pets, which pay cash every second. In one recorded playthrough, a newly hatched pet earned 60 per second; by the end of the same session, the leading player's collection paid up to 220,000 per second. That climb is the whole trick — better pets pay more, more money buys more speed, and more speed reaches the eggs that hatch better pets. The engine behind it is the egg run itself: steal eggs while outrunning the dinosaurs, hatch them, and let the income compound. If speed progress ever feels stuck, the answer is almost always to keep that pipeline running.
Early game: level the speed upgrade whenever cash dips
The base speed upgrade is a repeatable cash purchase. Each buy raises its level, and the new level shows immediately — there is no quest to hand in. In the recorded run the players nickname this upgrade the "treadmill," and one of them was already on level seven partway through the session ("I have it on level seven"). The run never pinned down an exact per-level price, so treat the upgrade as an opportunistic buy: whenever the next KuKirin costs more than you have, a speed level almost always fits the budget instead — "No, not yet, but maybe I can afford a better treadmill." Quoted speed totals in that session reached 2.7 million and later 4.6 million as upgrade levels and new-pet grants stacked. For the upgrade itself in more detail, see the speed upgrades page.
Early to mid game: trade up KuKirins in the shop
Better bikes are bought in the shop with cash, and each one is a double upgrade — more speed and more income. One session shows the ladder as it is actually climbed:
| Ladder point in the session | Cash price shown | What the run shows |
|---|---|---|
| First better KuKirin | 400,000 | The price is checked early ("Okay, 400,000, I need 400,000?"), the cash gets earned, and the player rides off on a better blue model |
| Mid-ladder model | about 1,000,000 | Spotted ("some kukirin for a million") before it was affordable |
| Late model | about 8,000,000 | Asked if one costs 10 million, the answer is "It's eight" — and it is bought: "And it earns more. Ooh, and has more speed." |
That session also shows G2 bikes, an orange G4, and plain color names (blue, black) — not enough to fix a named model order, so use the prices as milestone markers rather than a roster. The pattern is what matters: the next bike always costs several times the last one, and because it also raises your income, buying the next bike the moment you can afford it usually speeds up everything after it. For the vehicles themselves, see the motorcycles list and the current fastest motorcycles.
One shop caution: a player in that run recommends a "trail" because it "boosts your bonus" — but the session never shows whether that bonus is speed, cash, or both, so do not count it as a confirmed speed purchase.
Every stage: hatch new pet species for free speed
New pets are the only speed source that costs nothing but time. Asked where his speed came from "without Robux," the leading player in the run answers: "I collected a lot of animals for the index… you get speed. When you get a new pet, it gives you speed and cash." Duplicates still help — pets in that session paid anywhere from 315 to 50,000 per second — but only a brand-new species adds speed. That makes index-hunting a permanent objective: whenever an egg within your speed range can hatch something you do not own yet, it is both a raise and a speed gain. The eggs list and rare egg unlocks show what to chase.
Hatching itself runs on the day/night cycle: "They open faster at night." Top eggs are slow by default — the session mentions an hour, four hours, and even "a cosmic hour" — so night is when the pets funding your next purchase arrive fastest. Start long hatch timers so they finish overnight, and plan far egg trips so you are back before nightfall.
One caution on rushing timers: in that same session the players first assume hatching can be rushed with Robux ("It's definitely possible"), then cannot rush a specific egg and are told "You have to wait for night." Whether Robux-rushing works seems to depend on the egg, so do not plan around buying your way past a timer — plan around night.
What decides when you can take the next step
- Cash, everywhere. Every purchase waits on pet income; the run shows it repeatedly, from 10,000 on hand against a 400,000 bike to a flat "No, we can't do anything yet."
- The bike price ladder. Roughly 400,000, then about a million, then about 8 million — each step waits on accumulated income.
- Speed requirements on content. Egg areas display minimum speeds on signs — 2,500,000 and 17,000,000 are shown in the session — and below the number the steal simply fails ("maybe this is too much for me"). Check egg locations before making a long trip.
- The endgame ceiling. The best shop item the players inspect requires 700 million speed and carries a mentioned 16,500-Robux price. Nobody in the session was close — the best quoted speed was 4.6 million — and even a cash-rich player declines the Robux price. Secrets stayed out of reach all run: "it's hard to get a secret." Treat the millions-to-hundreds-of-millions stretch as the long grind the loop is built for.
- Night, for hatching. It paces how quickly new pets — and their speed grants — arrive.
Optional shortcut: Robux speed gamepasses
If you would rather skip part of the grind, the game sells speed in the Robux shop:
| Gamepass | Price |
|---|---|
| 2x Speed | R$ 9 |
| 4x Speed | R$ 29 |
| 8x Speed | R$ 59 |
| 16x Speed | R$ 99 |
| 32x Speed | R$ 199 |
| Thunderwing Kukirin | R$ 99 |
| x2 Money | R$ 299 |
| x2 Growth | R$ 355 |
The Speed multipliers and the Thunderwing Kukirin cut the gate directly; x2 Money and x2 Growth feed the same loop by raising the cash that pays for everything above. These are shortcuts, not the route — every step in this guide works on in-game cash alone. One thing the sources do not show: whether several speed multipliers stack if you own more than one, so check your speed readout after buying one before adding another.
Picking your next move
- Next KuKirin unaffordable? Buy treadmill levels and keep hatching.
- Bike affordable? Buy it now — its income boost compounds toward every later purchase.
- Speed just under a sign's number? A few new species plus a few upgrade levels usually close the gap faster than grinding for the next bike.
- Hatch timers stretching into hours? Schedule the session around night.
And before any big purchase, it is worth a glance at the current codes. If you are also weighing purchases that are not speed-related, the what to upgrade first page covers those priorities.
That is the whole path: pets pay, speed buys reach, reach buys better pets. Turn the loop and the numbers climb from 60 per second into the millions.
